A Step-by-Step Guide to Deleting Your Instagram Account

• Open Instagram on your device and go to your profile page (1)

• Click the three horizontal lines in the top right corner and select “Settings” from the menu. (2 and 3)

• Scroll down and select “Account” from the options.

• From the “Setting” menu click on “Account“. (4)
• Click “Delete Account” from the account menu bottom of the page. (5)
• On the next screen click “Delete Account” (6)

• On the next screen click “Continue Deleting Account” (7)
• Choose a reason for deleting your account from the dropdown menu. (8)

• Re-enter your password to confirm your identity. (9)
• Click “Delete … (your Instagram name)” to delete your Instagram account. (10)

Note that once you delete your account, you won’t be able to reactivate it, and all of your data, including photos, videos, and followers, will be permanently deleted.
